The local Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesperson, was approached by carers of patients on Loughborough Hospital's Bradgate Ward. They are concerned at Charnwood and North West Leicestershire PCT's consultation which suggests that this ward may be in danger of closing in a cost cutting exercise. This would mean local people and patients could miss out on essential mental health provision and respite care. </description>
